Wednesday Evenings During the School Year

FAMILY SUPPER
It all begins at 5:15 PM when our Kitchen Staff start serving a simple but hearty meal that your family will certainly enjoy. From Becky's tomato soup and grilled cheese to Kathy's chocolate chip cookies, whether it's pizza or hoagies, veggies or taco soup, we guarantee that the Family Supper at Calvary is the best deal in town! For $3 per person / $10 max per family you can relax with the kids and friends in the Fellowship Hall...and leave the cooking to us. All we ask is that you call the office to make reservations by 4:00 PM Monday.

DISCIPLELAND
Great evenings of fun and learning for boys and girls from Pre-K through grade 5. Bible stories, games, crafts, prayer, music, and more. Quality nursery care provided for children of staff and those attending other ministries. Disciple Land meets on Wednesday's from 6:30-7:45 PM from September through May.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Middle school youth group is for students grades 6-8 and meets in the North Building in a room dedicated to Teen Ministries on Wednesday's from 6:30-7:45 PM from September- May.

HIGH SCHOOL
The teen years are great! We're here for kids in grades 9-12 each Wednesday from 8:00 PM to 9:15 PM from September through May for learning, worship, great fun and fellowship. But that's just the start! Guys Bible Studies, Retreats, weekend activities, Girls Studies and more all make teens a priority at Calvary. Check out current options on the Calvary Connection.

GRIEF SHARE
A ministry for those who have lost loved ones and need the support of caring friends, this Wednesday evening program is offered at least once annually for 12 weeks. Contact the church office for the next opportunity to participate.

AND FOR ADULTS
We offer options for adults each Wednesday from September through May at 6:30 PM.

Prayer and Bible Study - Room 202
A mid-week hour of interaction for adults. Encouragement in the Scriptures, shared prayer time on behalf of your family and the extended church family, and guest speakers.

Wednesday Evening Ladies Bible Study - Room 201
Beth Moore Series: "Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman"
Beginning September 15, 2010 through April 2011
Cost: $15 for workbook
If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seem overpowering, this is a study for you." This is an interactive course that includes daily workbook page assignments and biweekly discussion nights/video instruction. Pre-registration is appreciated! Shelter From the Storm
If you are one of the almost 25% of adult women who were victims of some form of sexual abuse in your youth, there is hope and healing for you...a shelter from the storm. Beginning September 22, Calvary Church will be providing a biblically sound, confidential support group for ladies who have been impacted by abuse as children. Using Lifeway Press materials, "Shelter from the Storm" will be a time of reflection, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement for 12 Wednesday nights this Fall. An experienced woman teacher will lead the group under the auspices of our Women's Ministries. For further information, contact Darlene at the church office (610-282-3161).
