La Palabra... "The Word"...an all Spanish Bible Study! Our brother Cali Magallanes will lead at the Fairmount Building. Do you speak Spanish already? Have a Hispanic friend who needs fellowship? Interested in learning more about the Bible and about communicating in Spanish? This series of studies will meet each Tuesday.
Addictions take on many faces. From "just one more drink" to the easy access of the internet...habits are hard to break, even for Christians. Overcomers Outreach meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in Room 104. Overcomer's Outreach provides biblical teaching, prayer support, and accountability in a discreet atmosphere for those on the path to overcoming these challenges.
Every other Saturday the guys meet for coffee and interaction at 7:30 AM in the Conference Room. Studying the book, HEAVEN, by Randy Alcorn

The second Tuesday of each month several ladies meet at the Fairmount Building for Moms of Adult Children Prayer Group. No details needed. No gossip. Just shared concerns with others who understand.

From Becky's tomato soup and grilled cheese to Kathy's chocolate chip cookies, whether it's pizza or hoagies, veggies or taco soup, we guarantee that the Family Supper at Calvary is the best deal in town! For $4.00 per adult / $3.00 per child or $12.00 maximum per family you can relax with the kids and friends in the Fellowship Hall...and leave the cooking to us. All we ask is that you call the office to make reservations by 4:00 PM Monday. DISCIPLELAND Great evenings of fun and learning for boys and girls from Pre-K through grade 5. Bible stories, games, crafts, prayer, music, and more. Quality nursery care provided for children of staff and those attending other ministries. Disciple Land meets on Wednesday's from 6:30-7:45 PM from September through May. MIDDLE SCHOOL Middle school youth group is for students grades 6-8 and meets in the North Building in a room dedicated to Teen Ministries on Wednesday's from 6:30-7:45 PM from September- May. HIGH SCHOOL The teen years are great! We're here for kids in grades 9-12 each Wednesday from 8:00 PM to 9:15 PM from September through May for learning, worship, great fun and fellowship. But that's just the start! Guys Bible Studies, Retreats, weekend activities, Girls Studies and more all make teens a priority at Calvary. Check out current options on the Calvary Connection. AND FOR ADULTS Growth, fellowship, learning, prayer, encouragement...Your biggest challenge is going to be choosing among the options! After supper, at 6:30 PM when our kids and teens are cared for, the following ministries will be available: Prayer and Bible Study An hour of devotions, focused prayer, and encouragement led by our elders and other leaders. Room 201 Ladies Bible Study - Mercy Triumphs An all new Beth Moore series, this Bible study delves into the practical implications of our faith as expressed in the book of James. Melinda Watkins leads the discussion in room 202. No meeting on March 20 & 27. Men's Bible Study - Faith Under Fire If you're like lots of men, pat answers to life's tough issues just don't cut it. Why would a good God allow suffering? Is Christianity too narrow? Couldn't the Jewish God, the Christian God, even the Muslim God all be the same One? Tough questions...challenging answers. Explore these and other burning issues with two dozen other guys Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the Fairmount Building. No pat answers...truth from the Scriptures. The 21st annual Coopersburg Community Day will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Southern Lehigh Living Memorial Park, Route 309 at Fairmount Street in Coopersburg, right across from the Giant Food market. Admission and parking are FREE. It will be a day to remember - MUSIC, CRAFTS, ART, FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT & FUN for the entire family! A real BIG slice of "Small Town America". Our church will once again sponsor the children's activities in the Grove. The highlight of the day will be the life size Candy Land Game.

The Mind of the Athlete Dr. Jarrod Spencer is a trainer with Lehigh University and oversees "The Mind of the Athlete" organization that challenges the spiritual and mental as well as the physical attitude of athletes. 9:50 AM – 10:50 AM Get to meet some new friends, sing some of your favorites, hear what God has been doing through our people around the world...and enjoy a cup of hot coffee and light refreshments with the church family. Learn more about the BFC Tanzania Project, the attempt to introduce unreached people groups in Tanzania to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jason Raines has served as team leader of the team ministering to the Ndengereko people. Jason will be joined in marriage and ministry by his bride Brienne in August and they will be present to share their vision as they prepare to return to ministry in Tanzania. Plan to remain after the second service for a 12:30 luncheon fellowship together, followed by the presentation by Jason & Brienne on Sunday, September 30.
