If you are one of the almost 25% of adult women who were victims of some form of sexual abuse in your youth, there is hope and healing for you...a shelter from the Storm. We will be providing a Biblically sound, confidential support group for ladies. Using workbooks from Lifeway Press, "Shelter from the Storm" will be a time of reflection, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement for 12 Wednesdays this winter/spring. An experienced woman teacher will lead the group under the auspices of our Women's Ministries. If you are interested in possibly being part of this class, please call Patricia Moreau at 215-262-0592 at least one week before the starting date. She will answer any questions you might have and make sure you get the workbook in order to be prepared for the first class.
GriefShare is a 13 week seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It's a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At GriefShare, you'll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life. Meeting in the Fairmount Building, Wednesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 PM, through - February 15, 2012 (no sessions on December 21 and 28). Childcare is available for all ages. There is no cost for the sessions, however, a workbook is available for a $15.00 optional donation. Questions? La Palabra... "The Word"...an all Spanish Bible Study! Our brother Cali Magallanes will lead at the Fairmount Building. Do you speak Spanish already? Have a Hispanic friend who needs fellowship? Overcomers Outreach meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in Room 104. Overcomer's Outreach provides biblical teaching, prayer support, and accountability in a discreet atmosphere for those on the path to overcoming these challenges.
